The project consists of a 45,000 SF four story Administration office building to house the future Administration building of City of Cumming. The building is modeled after an old design for an original 1904 Forsyth County Courthouse that burned to the ground in 1973. The building consists of a basement and three-story office space. The structure is made of Structural steel frame with composite elevated slab the roof is a combination of a standing seam metal roof around the roof perimeter and the tower and a built-up roof membrane at the center. The exterior skin is a combination of Brick veneer with cast stone coping around aluminum windows and at the soffit. The two-story Lobby area includes marble flooring, ornamental curved stair, and custom molding and architectural lighting, Lighted bollards, flood lights, brick pavers, ornamental handrails, site benches, and beautiful landscape provide a pedestrian friendly environment in the downtown Cumming. Four 7’ diameter clock with bells and whistles, and singing tower carillon/chime system will be the signature of this building and make the lunch time promenade an enjoyable experience.
